About our Founder
About Ashley
Ashley’s career started with a stint in the business analytics team at Barclays. After understanding the banking business, Ashley went on to join the investment team at Lloyds, shaping his expertise on evaluating and making investment decisions, as well as adding further commercial acumen to his knowledge of the business. He then moved on to work with HSBC Ventures’ investment team, where he not only made investments, but also focused on building the ventures within the portfolio, with a vision on strategic growth.
Having been part of the growth journey of early-stage ventures and having navigated the investment landscape, Ashley decided to focus his efforts and skills towards aiding growth of start-ups and early-stage businesses, by helping them through their investment and growth journey. Ashley started Thrive Catalyst Ventures to bring this into fruition by assisting these businesses with investment management as well as strategic growth solutions.
